BREAKING MUSIC NEWS:Record Executive/founder of Arista Records and J Records:Clive Davis,dead at 94.

Hi everyone,i have some major breaking music news.Music Executive Mr. Clive Davis has died today at the age of 94.He was one of the music executive and making stars into big recording stars.He worked at CBS Records:a divsion of the CBS Television,Radio and Record Network since the mid-late 60’s to the early 70’s. While his tenture at CBS Records at 51 West 52nd Street in NYC,he discovered so many music stars including:Barabara Streisand,The Dave Clark Five,Chicago,Sly & The Family Stone,Johnny Nash and others.In 1970,Clive Davis met with Kenneth Gamble & Leon Huff which they signed a deal with CBS Records,and formed their new record label called Philadelphia International.In early 1973,Clive also met The Isley Brothers,as their record label T-Neck Records and signed and joined the CBS Records family as well.In mid-1973,Clive was under investigation,and left CBS,and became the new CEO and President of Bell Records:a division of Columbia Pictures Industries,which he later changed it’s name to Arista Records.There he discovered lots of artists including:Barry Manilow,Melissa Manchester,Whitney Houston,Taylor Dayne,Expose,The Thompson Twins,Air Supply,and Kenny G., and Lisa Stansfield.In 1990,L.A. & Babyface signed with Arista Records,and have new artists including:Toni Braxton,TLC,Usher,Damian Dane,and P!nk.In 2000,he left Arista Records and a new record label called J Records,where he had fresh new faces on the label including:Alicia Keys,,and Monica.Clive has been in the record industry for decades discovering new talents to come.R.I.P.
