BREAKING MUSIC NEWS:Singer Peabo Bryson dead at 75,musician/producer Dexter Wansel dead also at 75,and singer/actor & educator Joe”The Handyman”Negri at 99.

Hi everyone,we’re losing everyone in one week.We’ve lost 3 greats:singer Peabo Bryson,musician Dexter Wansel,and singer/actor and educator Joe”The Handyman”Negri. First:singer/actor and educator Joe “The Handyman” Negri died on Monday morning at the age of 99.He’s best remembered as Joe:The Handyman on TV’s “Mister Roger’s Neighborhood” aired on PBS from 1968 to 2000. As a kid,i had to watch PBS which includes “Mister Rogers Neighborhood”,which teaches about love,compassion,and learning to show love for your neighbors which inlcudes people of color and disablities. R.I.P. to The Handyman. On Wednesday,we lost singer Peabo Bryson at the age of 75 from suffering a stroke on Tuesday June 2nd.Representing Greenville,SC,Peabo came on the scene back in 1976 with his debut LP called “Peabo” on the Bullet label.His record was a failure on the record charts,so he switched over to Capitol Records with his breakthrough LP called “Reaching for The Sky”released back in January 1978,with hits including:Reaching For The Sky,and Feel The Fire:which was later remake by Stephanie Mills in 1979,and again in 1980 with Teddy Pendergrass.His other slow jams include:I’m So Into You,Let The Feeling Flow,Tonight[I Celebrate My Love] with Roberta Flack and others.In 1984,he switched over to Elektra/Asylum Records with his top 10 hit “If Ever You’re In My Arms Again”.He left us too soon.R.I.P Peabo. ..Last,but not least,this report just came in this morning,musician/producer Dextel Wansel died at the age of 75.He was part of The Philadelphia International Records Family.He produced music,and written songs for Patti LaBelle,Teddy Pendergrass and other. R.I.P. to Dexter Wansel.
